The Memphis Grizzlies announced on Saturday that star guard Ja Morant suffered a posterior hip subluxation and multiple Grade 1 pelvic muscle strains on a hard fall during the team's 131-114 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov.

The 25-year-old has appeared in eight games this 2024-25 season, averaging 20.6 points, 5.0 boards, and a career-best 9.1 assists in 27.9 minutes. Without his presence, the team will embark on a three-game road trip this upcoming week, which will start on Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Ja Morant, who suffered a hip injury Wednesday against the Lakers, is week to week, according to the Memphis Grizzlies, who are on a 3-game road trip.
