The fallout continues from Gianluigi Donnarumma’s collision with Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala during Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 win in the Club World Cup on Saturday. The goalkeeper, who was widely criticized for his actions after the hit, seems upset about the implication that he did anything with intent.

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala says “nobody is to blame” for the serious left leg injury he sustained last week. The Germany international fractured his fibula as a result of a broken ankle in Bayern’s Club World Cup quarter-final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday following a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer slammed Donnarumma in the aftermath. The Italian’s attempt to smother the ball did not sit well with Neuer, who accused his opposite number of taking “the risk of injuring his opponent” in an interview with Sky Sports Germany.
