Elon Musk was forced to correct the record on Sunday after his AI bot on X, known as “Grok,” was unable to decipher a fake post from a real one and spread misinformation that Musk claimed he “took” Stephen Miller ’s wife.

On Sunday, Grok replied to a question on X asking whether the post from Musk appearing to mock the White House deputy chief of staff by stating “just like I took your wife” was genuine by suggesting it “likely existed and was deleted.

Musk's Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, installed a Starlink Wi-Fi terminal at the White House in March – despite warnings from security officials that doing so could open the administration to potential data leak and espionage risks.
