Southwest and China Airlines' partnership is an interline deal, offering joint itineraries to connect Asia and the U.S. on one ticket. Flights start in 2026.

That's in addition to the three gateways the two airlines launched earlier this year: Denver International Airport (DEN), Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:LUV) announced on Monday that it is in talks with China Airlines Group to create an interline partnership in early 2026. The airline company expects to start selling published connections with China Airlines later this year.
