Calgary police say a 52-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree murder following the death of her mother. Police were called to a home in the southwest community of Canyon Meadows Thursday morning for reports of a deceased woman. The following day, the death of 83-year-old Sharon Helene Roberts was deemed a homicide.
