Congress MLA Zeeshan Siddique posted a cryptic message on social media following the murder of his father, Baba Siddique.

A photograph of NCP leader Baba Siddique's son was found in the phone of an arrested accused, revealing a conspiracy to assassinate him. During interrogation, it was disclosed that shooters from Uttar Pradesh were hired after local shooters declined the contract.

Mumbai Police's Crime Branch on Friday held the five accused for allegedly providing firearms and logistical support to the shooters of Baba Siddique.

The five arrested individuals are alleged to have provided logistical support and firearms to those who eventually carried out the shooting.

The Mumbai Police, investigating the murder of Baba Siddique, are encountering surprising facts daily. A photo of his MLA son, Zeeshan Siddique, has been found on the mobile phones of the suspects involved in the former minister's murder.

The police confirmed that Zeeshan Siddique's picture was shared with a shooter by his handler through Snapchat, a messaging application.

Baba Siddique was provided 2+1 security. This meant that two security personnel remained with him during the day, while one was on duty at night. Out of the two security guards on duty, one had left at 8:30 pm on the day of the incident.

The Mumbai Police said the five recently arrested suspects had backed out due to disagreements over the payment.
