A witness who was at the airport with his family said he saw a “big fireball” after the plane “crashed head first into the ground.”

One person was critically injured in a shooting at a Lexington airport Sunday morning, according to reports. Gunfire broke out just before noon at the Blue Grass Airport, with multiple people also injured, the Lexington Herald Leader reported. Early reports suggested a Kentucky State Police Trooper was seriously hurt, though that remains unclear.
