College students tried to make tiny Zap, North Dakota, the 'Fort Lauderdale of the North.' After a wild night, the national guard arrived to end to party.

Zap was co-founded by University of Washington professors Shumlak and Brian A. Nelson, with technology developed in collaboration with researchers at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
