Microsoft has decided against banning XIM and Cronus cheaters from the new Xbox accessories rules, despite having the APIs to do so.

Call of Duty's anti-cheat team, Ricochet, has implemented new countermeasures to stop players from using XIM-style hardware to cheat during online matches.

The system can now direct hardware devices like Xim Apex and Cronus Zen. These products aim to allow users to connect a keyboard and mouse to their console while emulating controller input.
