Jordan Anderson, Wood Carver is the Michelangelo of wood carving!

The solo show, which assembles wooden animal carvings by the popular sculptor, is hosted by the city government and sponsored by The Asahi Shimbun's Okayama General Bureau and other organizations.

Two important past uses of the wood have been for church altars and wood carvings, especially for duck decoys. Today, carving uses continue along with furniture, curios, millwork and paneling.
