Walmart announces holiday shopping deals are starting in October this year
The retailer announced plans for a massive sales event starting in October to kick off the holiday shopping season. According to a company news release, nearly 50% of consumers are starting their holiday shopping as early as August and September, so the company has decided to move its holiday sales to October.
