Heavily guarded government buildings in Kyiv have been struck by Russian air attacks in a major escalation of the Ukraine war. More than 400 protesters have been arrested in London after clashing with police during a demonstration in support of Palestine Action, a group declared a “terrorist organisation” in the UK.

Russia launched hundreds of exploding drones and decoys across Ukraine in the largest air assault so far in the war, killing at least five people and setting a government building in Kyiv ablaze.
