The season finale of Ultimate Tag delivered another wild episode of one of the stranger athletic game shows in some time.

One tagger gives chase in the obstacle course, while the other waits for the contestant to get to the base of the summit to tag the contestant on the final leg.

It's her job to chase down "Ultimate Tag" contestants as they vault, dodge, tumble and dive their way through the courses. Each episode produces a male and female winner earning $10,000.

Ultimate Tag ran rampant on Fox with its third episode, titled "Girls Just Wanna Run," on Wednesday night.

There’s a version on Fox called “Ultimate Tag,” which Soderman calls a “reality TV version” of “World Chase Tag.” The next episode featuring Soderman’s team (episode 5) airs Dec. 10.
