A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: " We were called to an incident at Tamworth train station on Victoria Road at 6.13am and sent an ambulance and paramedic officer to the scene.

Police and paramedics were called to a Staffordshire train station this morning where a casualty was found dead on the tracks. Officers say they are not treating the death in Tamworth as suspicious.
