Violence on the streets is plaguing many cities beside St. Louis News accounts of shootings in Chicago, Philadelphia and other metropolitan areas are distressingly frequent.

A federal grand jury indicted a St. Louis man Wednesday, charging him in connection with three murders he allegedly helped carry out as part of his affiliation with the Cochran Crips gang.
