Parts of Southeast Michigan have a potential for severe weather on Saturday afternoon and evening. Forecast models are not in complete agreement, but the risk for severe weather remains marginal for Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe Counties.

The Storm Prediction Center has made a fairly large addition to the level 2 risk of severe thunderstorms. This addition is mostly focused on Lower Michigan.

Two days of severe weather are possible for Michigan starting on Friday and running into the weekend. The Storm Prediction Center increased the chances of severe weather both Friday and Saturday for Michigan. The center placed the region in a slight risk (2 out of 5) for severe weather on both days.
