Russell Westbrook and Jalen Green shared a hilarious exchange during the Houston Rockets' rout of the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.

Future Hall of Fame point guard Russell Westbrook is fond of passing the game to the next generation, and he’s funded a number of AAU and youth teams in Southern California across the last decade-plus. Westbrook’s charitable efforts came back to bite him Wednesday night.

Russell Westbrook took on a heavier workload than usual for the Denver Nuggets amid Nikola Jokic’s injury. Jokic, of course, is as big of an absence as anyone, and with Jalen Green leading the charge for the Houston Rockets with another hyper-efficient scoring night (34 points on 10-16 shooting from the field),

Jalen Green was excellent and started feeling himself during the game, apparently trash-talking Nuggets' guard Russell Westbrook. The veteran Westbrook was confused after the trash-talk, going over to the Rockets bench and telling them about how Green played for his AAU team and is now trash-talking him.
