Singer Teddy Pendergrass, the R&B love man whose chart-topping career was slowed but not stopped by a devastating car accident, died Wednesday. He was 59.
Best-known for his love ballads, he scored hit-after-hit with songs including “I Don’t Love You Anymore,” “Close the Door,” “Love TKO” and “Turn Off the Lights,” among them.
