Highly touted QB Paxton Lynch will leave Memphis and enter the NFL draft, the junior announced Thursday.

Mark Sanchez isn't threatened by the Broncos' selection of Paxton Lynch in the NFL draft. Instead, he sees the selection as a vote of confidence in himself as the team's No. 1 quarterback.

The Broncos said QB Mark Sanchez will start Thursday's preseason opener against the Bears. Trevor Siemian will play the second quarter, with rookie Paxton Lynch set to play the second half.

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak ruled Trevor Siemian out against the Jaguars due to a left foot injury suffered last week against the Chiefs. Paxton Lynch will get his second NFL start Sunday.
