Nigo's first Nike collection, featuring a multicolored Air Force 3, is finally releasing this weekend. Ahead of the drop, a new colorway of the sneaker has leaked on X.

Nike goes full anime in a new promo spot that was released to promote their new Air Force 3, which was designed by Japanese fashion designer Nigo. As you’ll see, they have a wild anime feel to them. The anime promo introduces us to a brand new universe for the unique shoes,

The Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 will drop alongside a full apparel collection, and will be available on September 28 at Otsumo Plaza in Tokyo, Human Made, and the “I Know Nigo 2” pop-up in New York City. A much wider release will then follow a few days later on October 4, where it'll launch on Nike, the Snkrs app, and select stockists globally.

The upcoming Air Force 3 marks the beginning of what Nigo has described as a “long and exciting journey” which will take inspiration from the pop culture that the designer indulges in. Judging by his famous home in Tokyo, we can expect everyone from Homer Simpson to Andy Warhol to be referenced in the future.
