Svetlana Dali, who allegedly snuck onto a Delta Air Lines flight from NYC to Paris, has been indicted by a grand jury in New York.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brooke Theodora told a New York federal court that prosecutors hope to “engage seriously in plea negotiations” regarding Dali. Her attorney, Michael Schneider, said he'd participate in those discussions and “try to take care of this case prior to a trial.”

A Russian woman who was arrested after she stowed away on a flight from New York to Paris was indicted Monday by a federal grand jury in Brooklyn. Svetlana Dali, 57, was indicted on a stowaway charge that carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
