Purdue running back Devin Mockobee continues to climb up the program's rushing leaderboard, jumping up two spots after a great performance against SIU.

Devin Mockobee could break Mike Alstott's rushing record. In Purdue's first season with coach Barry Odom, plenty need to step up as wing men on that mission.

Mike Alstott's total of 3,635 rushing yards has stood atop the Purdue board since 1995. "When you're talking about names like Alstott, you are talking about living legends," Mockobee said.

Devin Mockobee needs his first career 1,000-yard season to break Purdue football's all-time rushing record. He stayed for Barry Odom's first year, which begins vs Ball State on Saturday.
