The spotlight on Fears is now a lot more intense, for a lot of the wrong reasons. Following an 83-71 win in East Lansing last week, Michigan coach Dusty May called out Fears for making dangerous plays. One appeared to show Fears attempting to trip Yaxel Lendeborg while he attempted to close out defensively on a 3-point attempt.

Michigan State basketball signees selected as McDonald’s All Americans

The Michigan State women’s basketball program also had a new signee named to the McDonald’s All American Game in Lilly Williams. The 6-foot-6 center from Farmington Hills who plays for Howell High School was one of two dozen selected for the women’s game, which will also be played on March 31 in Glendale.
