Metro continues to try and get more 7000 series trains in motion and have shorter wait times for riders.

Since returning to using automation to run Red Line trains, Metro has seen several trains overrun the platform at various stations, leading to delays.

Metro has announced that it will expand automated train service to the Blue, Orange and Silver Lines on Sunday, achieving full automation for the first time since 2009.
