A teenage boy has gone missing while swimming in a lake in a popular London park. Beckenham Park Place in Lewisham has been evacuated after the 16-year-old was reported missing at about 3pm.

One of the park's newer rides, 3Fall, requires park-goers to race down the slide head first on a mat. For younger adventurers, a huge water playground called Shipwreck Island opened in 2024.
