Jak & Daxter haven't had a new game since 2009. But with their ports to modern Playstation consoles, fans are hoping for this series to go on.

Sony's just announced Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier for PS2 and PSP . The duo travel across "mysterious lands" and "take to the sky" in the game, in order to save their planet from destruction.

Sony, Naughty Dog and Limited Run Games are bringing the Jak and Daxter games from PlayStation 2 to PlayStation 4 in four physical re-releases.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing are headed to the PlayStation 4 as PS2 Classics in 2017.
