Fishing remains slow on the shoreline, with better fishing coming off the mid-lake areas. CO Birchem began documenting fish houses that are frozen on the ice and completed a litter investigation.

CO Ashley Whiteoak (Aitkin) spent time patrolling ice fishing, ATV activity, trapping, and small-game hunting. She also followed up on a bobcat taken out of season and a burning complaint.

Under 4 inches: Stay off the ice. 4 inches: Can support ice fishing or other activities on foot. 5-7 inches: Can support a snowmobile or small ATV. 7-8 inches: Can support side-by-side ATV.
