Anglo American (OTCQX:AAUKF) (OTCQX:NGLOY) said Thursday it continues to work with Peabody Energy (NYSE:BTU) to conclude the sale of its Australia coal mining operations for $3.78B, adding the Moranbah North coal mine is stable with no evidence of damage after a fire.

The mining giant believes the incident involved a 'minor ignition' on 31 March in the underground area of the mine, which is located in Central Queensland's Bowen Basin.
