Reading’s Liberty Fire Company — now home to the Reading Area Firefighters Museum — originally put the 1911 American LaFrance fire engine into service at South Fifth and Laurel streets.
The 1911 fire engine, originally purchased by Reading’s Liberty Fire Company and housed at South Fifth and Laurel streets, was bought from the American LaFrance Corporate Collection in Florida.
