South Park's latest episode sparked controversy by depicting Dora the Explorer as a victim of s*x trafficking in a storyline criticizing ICE and Donald Trump.

The episode revolves around South Park elementary school counselor Mr. Mackey, who finds himself detaining some of the Dora audience members after joining ICE following his layoff from the school.

Chris Gilford and Valeria Walsh Valdes, who created Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer, revealed the animated kids persona was originally intended to be a different character.

Boots, Map, Swiper and Backpack all return too, in a new “Dora” that includes a lot more Latin music and Spanish language.
