A Philadelphia officer assigned to the ATV detail was struck by a person driving a Polaris Slingshot during a hit-and-run in North Philly on Sunday night, police said.

A three-wheel vehicle known as a Polaris Slingshot hit the officer who was on a dirt bike working with the department's ATV Detail. One person was taken into custody, police said.
