In a second lawsuit, Gainesville Golf and Country Club Inc. is suing Blue Water Real Estate Holdings for just over $1.6M for breach of contract.

The golf course's closure came as the power was turned off in July 2022 by Gainesville Regional Utilities due to an unpaid bill of nearly $39,000.
