WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - For the 11th year in a row, the Cape Fear chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will be holding its annual Christmas tree dune restoration and beach clean up.

"At 4:41 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm near Christmas Valley Sand Dunes, or 55 miles east of La Pine, moving northeast at 15 mph," states the weather service.
