Stephen A. Smith has embraced needling the Dallas Cowboys and their fans as a recurring bit and the franchise has provided him ample opportunity to do so in recent years. The face of ESPN pushed quite hard for the Cowboys to hire Deion Sanders but Jerry Jones instead opted to go the very boring route with Brian Schottenheimer.

Brian Schottenheimer was introduced as the new Dallas Cowboys head coach on Monday morning, becoming the 10th head coach in franchise history. During that press conference, Schottenheimer was asked what his offensive might look like,

Schottenheimer—a long-time NFL offensive coordinator—last called plays during his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. The 51-year-old has been the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, and the University of Georgia over his nearly 30-year coaching career.
