Barney and his friends debuted in 1992 on PBS in a TV show called “Barney & Friends” that featured songs, dancing and games. Barney, Baby Bop, BJ and Riff starred along with a cast of children.

Per an official synopsis, “Barney’s World” is set in a local playground when “Barney is joined by dinos Billy and Baby Bop and their three kid best friends.
