"Ambient Mode," Samsung explains, "analyzes the pattern and texture of the wall where the TV is mounted and displays the result on screen, leaving only the TV frame visible.

These sport an ultra-thin bezel and Samsung's signature One Invisible Cable, which means that with Ambient Mode on, a wall-mounted television will blend almost seamlessly into the wall behind it.

Samsung has announced that its 2019 QLED TV line will come with a new feature called Ambient Mode. When the TV screen is turned off, it will display artwork, news headlines, weather updates, and more.
