Pa.'s rare bull elk hunts to become once-in-a-lifetime chance, other changes also approved
The heaviest bull was a 7x7 that weighed 853 pounds. The heaviest antlerless elk weighed 683 pounds. The agency estimates there are about 1,400 wild elk in northcentral Pennsylvania.
