After an easy win over Charleston Southern, Vanderbilt goes to Blacksburg, Virginia, tonight at 6:30 PM for Round 2 of a two-game series against Virginia Tech. The Commodores won at home last year, 34-27, in what wound up being our first sign that this was a different Vanderbilt football team.

Vanderbilt football can secure a key 2-0 start in the Sept. 6 game against Virginia Tech in Blackburg, Virginia. The Commodores (1-0) eased past Charleston Southern in the season opener with eyes toward more difficult games in September, including this trip to Lane Stadium.

Vanderbilt did not allow Virginia Tech to score a single point during the second half of their non-conference college football game on Saturday. The
