The actor Timothy West, who was married to fellow star Prunella Scales for 61 years, has died aged 90, his family have confirmed.

Coronation Street and EastEnders actor Timothy West, known for many other roles in television and the theatre, has died peacefully in his sleep aged 90 “with his friends and family at the end”, his family said.
