Tornadoes rip through South leaving one dead in Texas: ‘Particularly dangerous’
Large hail, damaging wind and tornadoes are likely with any severe storms that develop from late Saturday morning into Saturday night. Some strong tornadoes, meaning EF-2 or higher, are also possible. However, forecasters are concerned that some tornadoes could be even stronger.
Millions of people were under tornado watches on Saturday in parts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.
More potentially severe systems are expected in the Lone Star State as a wild Christmas weather week continues.
