The Tennessee Volunteers and the Texas A&M Aggies are set for one of the better matchups of the day, as both teams are looking to prove a point in this midweek-

Tuesday will mark the 22nd meeting between the two schools in the all-time basketball series, dating to the 1951-52 season. The Vols have a 13-8 record in previous games against Texas A&M. Tennessee has won the last two contests versus the Aggies and is 6-4 in games contested in Knoxville.

The No. 22 Vols (11-4, 1-1 SEC) bludgeoned Texas (9-6, 0-2) on the interior, racking up 44 points in the paint in the win at Food City Center. Adding to the dominant interior performance was senior guard Ja'Kobi Gillespie, who finished with a career-high 34 points on 12-of-18 shooting and 5-of-8 from three-point range.
