Britain's King Charles will visit Poland to attend the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz's liberation. The event will include a commemoration service at Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. King Charles will also meet Poland's President Andrzej Duda and local community members in Krakow ahead of the event.

Britain’s King Charles met with 94-year-old Holocaust survivor Manfred Goldberg at Buckingham Palace on Monday (January 13), days before his planned visit to Poland to attend commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz on January 27.

The monarch will head to the event on Jan. 27, where he will meet with the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr Andrzej Duda
