The NBA is making its debut on Peacock this fall and it should be an "exciting and inclusive streaming experience," according to NBCUniversal. It should also bring a few changes as NBC has announced new features including Instant Game Access and Performance View.

This year, when fans open the Peacock app during the NBA season, its Instant Access feature will show live game footage on the home screen, including current in-game stats for players. You'll see which teams are facing off, and you can press play to jump right into the livestream.

The NBA coverage for 2025-26 season will feature “an unprecedented level of integration between the platform and NBC Sports’ production” the company said.
