Ford is offering the first special edition Mustang GTD to mark the achievements of American ingenuity in what it's calling the Spirit of America.

The auto giant unveiled a patriotic version of its outrageous range-topping muscle car called the Spirit of America before the start of the 2025 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on Thursday. The special edition is meant to be a celebration of American ingenuity and 60 years of racing success for its iconic pony car.

The GTD models are part of Ford's plans to expand the Mustang nameplate into the higher echelons of the sports car and racing worlds.
