Mid-Michigan under a Cold Weather Advisory through Wednesday morning
The National Weather Service issued a Cold Weather Advisory for all of Michigan from Monday morning through Wednesday morning, when arctic temperatures are likely. The advisory expires at noon Wednesday. In the meantime, Mid-Michigan likely will have to endure wind chills that feel below zero for about 60 consecutive hours.
Winter weather advisory issued for all of Southeast Michigan as more snow moves in
All of Southeast Michigan is under a winter weather advisory from 1 p.m. Friday until 1 a.m. Saturday. Most of the snow will fall between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday. The snow will be the light and fluffy type. This is all based on the temperatures at the time the system moves in.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for much of West Michigan through Tuesday evening. The heaviest snow will fall closer to the lakeshore with lower amounts the further east you go. This will be very light and fluffy snow due to frigid temperatures. That means the snow will easily blow around and could create whiteouts.
