At least 27 campers and counselors from Camp Mystic in Texas have died in devastating flash flooding that swept through the region, the camp announced. At least 120 people have died in the flooding that struck Texas Hill Country on Friday.

Remains of missing Camp Mystic counselor Katherine Ferruzzo found, family saysThe remains of Katherine Ferruzzo, the only Camp Mystic counselor who remained unaccounted for, were found Friday, her family said in a statement. Ferruzzo, 19, is among the 27 Camp Mystic campers and counselors who died during the devastating July 4 flooding in Kerr County. She was serving as a counselor at the camp's Bubble Inn this summer.
The company's chairman announced Friday that 8-year-old Renee Smajstrla died in the Kerr County floods. She was a camper at Camp Mystic. The camp has lost 27 campers and counselors in the flood. The jewelry company -- which was founded in Kerrville -- has pledged one million dollars in flood aid and relief efforts.
