Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the red. Nifty 50 closed at 22,124.70, while Sensex ended at 73,198.10. Asian equities were higher in early trade today.

The Sensex ended 112 points, or 0.15 per cent, lower at 73,085.94, while the Nifty 50 settled at 22,119.30, down 5 points, or 0.02 per cent.

BSE Sensex and Nifty50, the Indian equity benchmark indices, opened in green on Monday. While BSE Sensex rose over 350 points, Nifty50 was above 22,200.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 3 (ANI): Indian stock markets ended flat on Monday, with the Nifty extending its losing streak to the ninth day amid the uncertain global situation.

The trends on Gift Nifty also indicate a positive start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading around 22,370 level, a premium of nearly 90 points from the Nifty futures’ previous close.

Sensex stood at 73,593.26, up 395.16 points or 0.54 per cent. Nifty was trading at 22,243.85, up 119.15 points or 0.54 per cent. In Asia, most markets were trading higher, with the Nikkei at 1.4 per cent climbing the most.

On Monday, March 03, the 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex lost 112.16 points or 0.15 per cent to close at 73085.94. The NSE Nifty went u by 5.40 points or 0.02 per cent to close at 22119.30.

Index 22,200 would be the key level to watch out. Below this, it could slip to 22,000-21,800 while if it sustain above 22,200, a quick pullback rally up to 22300 is possible , said experts
