A former New Jersey school janitor is facing eight years in prison after admitting to tainting children’s utensils and cafeteria food with feces, urine and bleach.

VINELAND, N.J. (WKRC) - A former school custodian is facing eight years in prison after he admitted to tainting kids' utensils and food. According to PEOPLE, citing a statement from Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae, 27-year-old Giovanni Impellizzeri admitted to tainting utensils and cafeteria food with feces, urine and bleach.

Giovanni A. Impellizzeri, 27, of Vineland, was working at Elizabeth F. Moore School in Upper Deerfield in 2023 when prosecutors alleged he urinated in mixing bowls, rubbed his genitals and anus on bread, sprayed bleach in a container of cucumbers and boasted about putting feces in food.
