The Sacramento Kings reportedly are excluding rookie guard Devin Carter from trade discussions with the Brooklyn Nets for wing Cam Johnson.

A Republican official who oversees Nassau County on New York's Long Island  seemingly refused to lower flags to half-staff in memory of the late Democratic President Jimmy Carter, who died last weekend at the age of 100.

Critics had assailed the Nassau County executive for not ordering flags at half-staff to honor the 39th president.

President-elect Donald Trump railed against the order for American flags to be flown at half-staff to honor the late President Jimmy Carter, complaining that they will be in that position “for the first time ever during an Inauguration of a future President.

Officials also remind the public there is no parking at the Carter Center and you'll need to take a MARTA shuttle bus to get there if you're not biking or walking there.

The body of President Jimmy Carter will lie in repose for mourners to come and pay their respects from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.
