Spire Motorsports driver Carson Hocevar defended his actions after winning the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway.

Carson Hocevar drove his No. 7 Chevrolet to a thrilling finish and won the Heart of Health Care 200 auto race under the lights at Kansas Speedway on Saturday evening. Hocevar started the NASCAR Crafstman Truck Series race from the No. 4 position; Jake Garcia was on the pole.

Carson Hocevar won in the NASCAR Truck Series four times in 2023. He graduated to the Cup Series the following year and has been racing full-time there since. He got behind the wheel of a truck for the first time since his promotion last week at Texas Motor Speedway and was unable to recapture that winning feeling, finishing 17th.
